I hate proprietary
Egypt's web developers ignorance of browsers other than IE never ceases to amaze me.
The e-payment system for landline telephone bills works only on internet explorer. I was able to bypass the problem by excluding the non standard line from the javascript and running the rest in firebug.
Similar problems can be seen in the thanaweya amma results site.

To put proprietary in other words : "non standard". MS has done weird things in IE, that encourage people to write code that works only on IE

They don't know that there is other people on the planet!
